JOB PURPOSE:
Responsible for the delivery of training programs designed for practice staff across Affordable Dentures and Implants. Partners with Practice Owners and their Staff, Operations, Marketing, Human Resources, and other departments to identify practice development needs and to partner with internal Affordable Care Learning and Development team members to successfully fulfill these training requirements. The Field Training Specialist is a critical role in the development of FDAs, DAs, treatment coordinators, office managers and others.
GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Deliver corporate training programs to assigned regional practices.
- Conduct necessary follow-up to determine application of training material and address any challenges, questions and issues.
- Assist and provide subject matter expertise in development of new training programs and updates/revisions.
- Suggest new topics for the purpose of training program development.
- Maintain ongoing communication with Practice FDAs, DAs, Treatment Coordinators, Office Managers and others in identifying individual and practice developmental needs and the appropriate learning solutions to remediate.
- Collaborate with other Trainers and Field support specialists in ideas and issues affecting training and practice/functional/clinical performance.
- Participate in regular forms of communication including meetings (off-site/on-site) and conference calls.
- Facilitate training classes and other programs as needed.
- Support pro bono training programs though ongoing delivery of relevant training modules.
- Deliver corporate developed training materials and insures consistency of material and messaging
- Act as a positive and effective liaison between the practices and the Learning and Development team, championing corporate initiatives.
- Additional duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Associates Degree or equivalent work experience. BS/BA degree highly preferred.
- 2-4 years of previous experience as a Field Trainer.
- Training certification desired.
- 70% overnight travel (Sunday – Friday) required. The position will require you to travel to any one of our affiliated dental practices in your assigned region for multiple consecutive days.
- Experience with dentures and dental implants.
- Must understand compliance with state dental practice requirements (i.e., X-ray requirements, OSHA training, etc.)
- Experience with Microsoft Office products: Word, Excel, and Advanced PowerPoint.
