About the Role:
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Director of Hospitality to lead our entire guest experience. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of hospitality, ensuring every visitor feels welcome, informed, and delighted. You'll be responsible for creating a cohesive brand image, maximizing guest satisfaction across all touchpoints, and driving revenue through exceptional service.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor all hospitality staff: This includes all front of the house staff and collaborate with GM, Executive Chef and Director of Marketing.
- Cultivate an exceptional guest experience: Develop and implement strategies to ensure guests feel welcome, informed, and have a memorable experience at every stage, from wine tasting to dining.
- Oversee tasting room and farmhouse kitchen operations: Maintain smooth operation of both the tasting room and the bistro, ensuring efficiency, adherence to service standards, and a comfortable and inviting atmosphere.
- Develop and manage hospitality budget: Develop and manage the budget for the entire hospitality department.
- Drive revenue generation: Identify opportunities and implement strategies to grow revenue through wine sales, dining experiences, and event offerings.
- Collaborate with culinary and winemaking teams: Work closely with the culinary and winemaking teams to create a cohesive experience that seamlessly integrates food, wine, and service.
- Plan and execute events: Lead the planning and execution of large group tastings and special programs. a
- Maintain brand image: Contribute to the development and implementation of Saddlehils brand image, ensuring a consistent and positive guest experience across all channels.
- Track and analyze guest satisfaction: Develop and implement strategies to collect and analyze guest feedback, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 7 years of experience in hospitality management, with experience in both food and beverage operations.
- Proven track record of creating exceptional guest experiences in a restaurant and/or winery
- Strong understanding of food and beverage service.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with Toast, Dolce and Run by ADP Payroll a plus
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, delegate tasks effectively, and work under pressure.
- Experience with hospitality budgeting and revenue generation preferred.
- Passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
