Responsibilities
• Provide care within the scope of state's nurse practice act • Conduct initial evaluation visit and regularly reevaluate client's nursing needs • Prepare clinical and progress notes • Develop and administer agency policies and procedures • Supervise, educate, and coach nursing personnel/care-giving staff • Plan and implement in-service and training programs • Oversee maintenance of client clinical records • Stay informed about changes in nursing and home health care • Promote home health referrals in the healthcare community
Requirements
• Current unrestricted RN license in state for which care is being provided • Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred • Minimum 1 year documented experience required • 3-5 years of clinical experience preferred • Experience in home health agency, primary care clinic, or health facility preferred • Reliable car/auto insurance • Clean background and criminal record • Understanding of regulatory compliance with state and federal regulations • Adherence to HIPAA and client confidentiality
