An essential element of this job is to convey steady encouragement to ensure the growth of skills needed for daily living; this includes establishing high-quality relationships. DSP's promote healthy living, healthcare management, and natural supports. Staff develop skills and abilities to remain calm during demanding situations, while ensuring the maintenance of a healthy and safe home environment. A perfect position for students seeking flexible hours and gaining hands on experience in all facets of the human service industry. Weekend hours required for all positio ns.

Minimum Requirements

• A high school diploma/GED
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record; reliable transportation to work.
• Must be able to: lift 25- 50lbs with assistance ; bend/squat, push/pull o r kneeling without limitation.

• Pay Rate: $20 to $21 hour
• Weekend Pay Differential - $1.00/hour
