ATTENTION APPLICANTS: This vacancy is being announced at two different job classes at the same time, Engineer Senior and Engineer 2 Graduate. The final class and starting salary are dependent on the successful applicant’s qualifications.
This position is located at the Bridge Office in Oakdale, Minnesota. The position will have the flexibility to work a hybrid schedule or work in the office. The incumbent will be required to complete a telework agreement if working a hybrid schedule.
Job Duties:
As a Bridge Operations Support Engineer, assists the Bridge Preservation Engineer in supporting bridge operations throughout the state. Responsibilities are to:
The position requires travel up to 10% of the time to participate in discussions and provide guidance to district and local agency bridge crews. This includes some overnight travel for multi-day meetings and site visits to remote locations.
