Whether you will spend your day in an office cubicle, operating a crane or running the melt shop at one of our mills, at CMC, you’ll get the training and support from your team that you need to excel in your role and reach your full potential.What You'll Do
  • Develop construction specifications, bid packages, budget cost estimates, construction schedules, permitting, etc as required to insure completion of projects on time and within budget
  • Estimates and schedules for multidisciplinary projects
  • Identify accurate estimates of rebar material, equipment, and labor for a project
  • Prepare estimates and perform takeoff while preparing and sending preliminary scope letters, bid forms and documents, to meet bid schedulesWhat You'll Need
  • 1 - 2 years previous experience and/or knowledge with AutoCAD and reading blueprints
  • AutoCAD skills are a plus
  • Basic knowledge of computers and MS Office programs – Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, maintain a professional demeanor in all situations, and commitment to excellent customer services at all times
  • Ability to multitask and collaborate in a functional, technical, multidiscipline, high performing team to plan and meet aggressive deadlinesYour Education
