Family Worker

Summary This is a Year-Round Full Time Family Worker position in a state funded Preschool Program. Applicant will be working with families of children ages 3 ? 5 years old. Must be fluent in English and Spanish with excellent speaking and writing skills. Duties This position requires the ability to work with Center director to develop a parent group which will include but not be limited to: parenting meetings, programs and activities that promote healthy child development and increase parental involvement.
Work with the child care staff as a team and whenever appropriate work with the school district staff. Requirements � High school diploma or its equivalent.
� An Associate degree preferred but strong prior working experience can be substituted
� Experience working with families, particularly those with young children
� Knowledge of social services agencies and community resources
� Fluent in English and Spanish with excellent speaking and writing skills
