Job Posting Title Financial Analyst Job Description Summary Supports the organization's accounting activities, including financial record keeping and reporting. Maintaining records of the organization's financial activity in accordance with GAAP, organizational standards, and in compliance with Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act. Creating reports on financial performance for internal and external use. Completing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities related to organization's financial performance, analysis, and reporting. Supports the organization's forecasting, budgeting, and long-range financial planning process. Job Description

• Analyzing current and past financial data and performance, and preparing reports and projections based on this analysis
• Developing monthly financial forecasts, annual budget, and long-range financial plan (LRFP)
• Identifying trends in financial performance and providing recommendations for improvement
• Coordinating with other members of the finance team to review financial information
• Evaluating current capital expenditures and depreciation
• Exploring investment opportunities
• All other duties as assigned
  

Required Skills And Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or closely related field
• 0-3 Years professional experience
• Good knowledge of and experience with finance and accounting issues
• Self-motivated, resourceful, and detail-oriented
• Ability to work effectively with non-finance associates
• Proficient with Microsoft Office products - Excel and PowerPoint
