Financial Controller

With offices all over the world, we are looking for a Financial Controller out of our South Dakota office! Our speicality is dental insurance and we remain one of the most successful in North America!

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team. The Financial Controller will be responsible for managing all financial aspects of the company and ensuring accuracy and compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and other financial regulations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, which includes Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Payroll, Bank Reconciliations, Claims Payments, general ledger accounting, Financial Auditing, Tax Processes, and Budgeting. They will need to analyze financial information to ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable regulations. This role requires excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

• Review and analyze financial statements and reports
• Prepare and review budget, revenue, expense, payroll entries, invoices, and other accounting documents
• Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures
• Audit processes and procedures for efficiency and compliance
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Analyze financial information and prepare financial reports
• Manage the preparation and filing of all tax documents
• Monitor cash balances and cash forecasts
• Oversee and manage all financial transactions

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA certification preferred
• At least 5 years of relevant experience
• Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
• Advanced knowledge of GAAP and financial regulations
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
