Responsibilities
• Leading complex projects and independently executing analyses that support the healthcare value portfolio • Translating technical results into answers for healthcare business needs • Partnering effectively outside of the business team to execute work • Working closely with team members to understand the business question and source associated data • Executing work efficiently and bringing process enhancements • Recognizing data patterns, quantifying potential issues, and identifying solutions • Standardizing, harmonizing, cleaning, preparing and using data for developing datasets, reporting, and analysis • Performing root cause analysis on external and internal processes and data • Assembling large, complex data sets that meet business requirements • Conducting data gathering and analysis to understand business requirements, providing direction for short and long-term solutions
Requirements
• Minimum 6 years’ experience in Advanced Data Analytics • Proficient in advanced functions in SQL • Advanced understanding of data warehousing and data mining concepts • Ability to recognize data patterns, quantify potential issues, and identify solutions • Ability to standardize, harmonize, clean, prepare, and use data for developing datasets, reporting, and analysis • Ability to perform root cause analysis on processes and data • Experience with assembling large, complex data sets • Conducting data gathering and analysis to understand business requirements • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Mathematics, Healthcare Information Technology, or similar degree required • 5 years of application programming and analysis experience required • Broad level of understanding surrounding information systems and application architecture standards • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret complex problems or processes • Experience designing, developing, and testing applications using proven or emerging technologies
Key Skills Needed
• Healthcare Experience • Experience with big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, and scripting languages: Python or Scala • Solid working knowledge of Microsoft tools and software • Innovation in identifying and proposing business solutions • Written and verbal communication skills • Interpersonal skills • Ability to work independently or within a team environment
