HR Investigations Specialist
Location: Madison, AL
Pay: up to $39/hour
*Duration: 10 months *
POSITION SUMMARY
The Investigations Specialist investigates complaints raised internally and directly to our client’s whistleblower line while taking into consideration applicable company policies and procedures. This individual will interface with executives, managers, advisors, assistant managers, specialists, group leaders, team leaders and team members cross-functionally, to conduct thorough and timely investigations.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serve as the Investigator for cases, using optimal strategy, while following investigation protocol and taking into consideration applicable company policies and procedures.
Partner with Team Member Relations by taking the lead on investigations, analyzing relevant information, and researching case specifics to ensure the delivery of thorough, timely investigation results.
Develop interview and follow-up questions based on data collected and analyzed.
Develop strategies for investigating individual cases under the guidance of the Investigations Assistant Manager, including developing questions.
Effectively communicate investigation results as necessary, both orally and through an investigation summary report.
Recommend appropriate course of action when needed, with advice from the Investigations Assistant Manager.
Participate in new hire training development and delivery.
Proactively seek out opportunities to improve processes and reduce risk to the company.
Collaborate with Investigations Assistant Manager to identify and remove barriers to a successful investigation and identify potential future roadblocks.
Partner with Investigations Assistant Manager by taking the lead with coordinating communications, meetings and related activities involving stakeholders’ groups.
Maintain and analyze KPI tracking data to include identifying trends and issues.
EDUCTION AND EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Human Resource Investigations (i.e. workplace investigations, policy violations, employee concerns)
Excellent Written & Verbal Communications Skills
Analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
Ability to build rapport and effectively work with a diverse group of stakeholders
Proficient in Computer Systems
Detail Oriented
Ability to Maintain Confidentiality
