The Opportunity

AirReps, a member of Daikin Industries is seeking a professional, skilled individual for our HVAC Service Support Technician position at our Spokane, WA office. 

Support the service group and sales staff. Startup, service, and troubleshooting of products we represent, not limited to Variable Refrigerant Flow systems, VFD’s AHU’s, RTU’s ETC.

• Startup, commissioning and troubleshooting for Danfoss and other brand VFD’s
• startup, commissioning and troubleshooting for Daikin VRV systems.
• Other major manufacturers of opportunity may include but are not limited to: Daikin Applied, Huntair, Temtrol, Venmar many chiller brands, and BAC cooling towers.
• Work closely with service department team for daily direction and scheduling.
• During normal working hours, time not spent in the field, should be used to continue your education and expand your industry-related product knowledge.
• Safety is a priority - Must work in a safe manner. ensure that personal safety is your responsibility. If ever in doubt, ask.
• Assist with required start-up, warranty paperwork, and service reports in a timely manner.
• Ability to operate a company vehicle in a safe manner. (Clean driving record)
• Work schedule includes Monday thru Friday and the flexibility to work overtime & weekends as needed.
• We do travel as our territory is large (all of eastern WA, some of eastern OR. And northern Idaho)
• Other duties may be assigned .
• Support the warranty needs of Air Reps in the field.

• The ability to lift 50+ lbs, self-motivated and creative problem solving skills Work environment is many times in extreme conditions. Inside/outside, on lifts etc.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel .
• Computer skills strongly recommended for navigating factory diagnostic and commissioning programs / tools.
• 2+ Yrs. Field/trade school preferred
• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
