(Hybrid with onsite requirement. Must live within 90 miles of NAS Patuxent River, MD 20670 - no exceptions)

Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance; if selected, interim secret clearance must be in place before onboarding.

Work Site:Patuxent River, MD

Work Location: This is a HYBRID position. Candidates must reside within 90 miles of Patuxent River, MD. Onsite work may be required a few days per month for meetings/collaborative events. Daily communications and availabity imperative to success. Initial onboarding may require multiple days on-site at NAS Patuxent River, MD so must have own transportation.

Position Type:Full-Time

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Use modern tech stack (React, Python) to develop software applications/systems.
Package subsets of data into microservices to implement API management tools for transferring data.
Develop new and/or modernize legacy applications in an AWS cloud environment.
Utilize GitLab to maintain source control and to deploy code through a CI/CD pipeline.
Work with applications and data in a containerized environment.
Design, develop, and deploy relational and multidimensional databases.
Perform unit testing using Python and/or React.
Other duties as assigned or required.

REQUIRED Qualifications and Experience:

Experience developing web applications utilizing full-stack technologies required.
Strong proficiency in React framework and libraries required.
SQL database development experience required.
AWS Native Services, OpenShift, Docker and Kubernetes, and/or Microservice experience required.
Working knowledge of DevOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) experience highly desired.
Agile software development experience highly desired.

Education/Experience:

Minimum of AA/AS degree and 7 years related experience OR HS and 10 years related experience.

Security Clearance:

Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance; if selected, interim secret clearance must be in place before onboarding. US Citizenship Required.
