Indoor Air Quality Technician

Job summary
Midwest Heating & Cooling is seeking an Indoor Air Quality Technician to join our team! Perform maintenance and high-level service repairs on residential and light commercial HVAC systems Assist with training and development of apprentice service technicians

Responsibilities
• Perform daily truck maintenance checklist • Clean air testing and communication to clients • Use HVAC trade tools and testing devices • Maintain a professional appearance and attitude • Follow directions and complete tasks in a timely manner • Report to jobsite locations on time • Communicate with dispatcher upon arrival and departure from jobsite • Report parts and materials needed to dispatcher • Interact with clients per company's standard operating practices • Debrief with dispatcher after completion of each job
Requirements
• Valid driver's license and insurable driving record • Extensive understanding of residential heating & cooling systems • Possess all required tools • Able to work from extension ladders and step ladders • Knowledge of service tools and testing devices • Basic knowledge of electrical and refrigeration principles • Working sheet metal abilities • Ability to follow written and verbal directions • Ability to retain and use knowledge & skills in the field • Commitment to developing & using customer service skills
Key Skills Needed
