Industrial Engineering Supervisor

Leads engineers and technical support staff in complex planning activities related to equipment layouts in plant, office, and production facilities. Plans and directs projects or major phases of projects within industrial engineering. Provides direction to engineers and technical support staff in the performance of assigned projects. Conducts studies that determine the most efficient sequence of operations and workflow and recommends methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel. Prepares cost estimates for proposed projects and evaluates cost factors. Develops and applies advanced engineering theories, methods and research techniques in the investigation and solution of complex technical problems. Analyzes, evaluates and plans method of approach and organizes means to achieve the solution to complex technical problems. May act as internal consultant providing technical guidance on most complex projects.

Qualifications:

Requires a bachelor's degree . Requires at least 5 years related experience.
Excellent oral and written communications skills. Expert Knowledge of technical plans, blueprints, drawings. Understanding of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Effective in directing projects and providing work leadership.
