INFOSEC Engineer, Senior/Lead

Bowhead seeks a Senior/Lead INFOSEC Engineer to support future efforts at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.

• Serves as Working Leader to lower-grade personnel and is considered an expert for providing technical guidance and information to meet requirements
• Leads a team in providing technical expertise in system security requirements, designs security architecture and develops a security design for program platforms
• Develops System Engineering plans, and procedures in accordance with DoD, Army, industry and academia best practices
• Plans, coordinates, and integrates all systems engineering tasks adhering to a disciplined systems engineering process a throughout all acquisition phases of the assigned subsystem, system, or system of systems

• Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or related scientific or technical discipline. Four (4) additional years of direct relevant technical experience may be substituted for education level (i.e. 4 ADDITIONAL years in lieu of a Master's/8 ADDITIONAL years if no degree. A PhD in a related field may be substituted for an additional two (2) years of experience.
• A minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience, at least five (5) must be specialized experience including system security analysis and implementation; design assurance or testing for INFOSEC products and systems; integration or testing for INFOSEC products and systems is required
• IAT level II certification
• Familiarity with DoD INFOSEC systems, policies, and procedures

SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently have a Top Secret clearance. US Citizenship is a requirement for Top Secret clearance at this location.

Physical Demands:
• Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
• Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time
• Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
