Inventory Clerk

Job Summary:

Join our team as an Inventory Clerk within the Control department at a leading jewelry retailer. You will play a crucial role in receiving, categorizing, processing, and distributing customer/store damaged, trade-in, and break-out merchandise. Your dedication to providing exceptional customer service and ensuring timely and efficient handling of merchandise will contribute to our commitment to exceed customer expectations.

Job Specifications:

• Job Type: Full-Time

• Location: Wilmington, NC

• Pay Rate: $12.50/hr.

• Shift: 1 st Shift, 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday through Friday

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Respond to store inquiries regarding merchandise returns.

• Research and identify untagged merchandise.

• Create transfer documents for merchandise distribution between the corporate office and store locations.

• Follow security policies to ensure merchandise protection.

• Receive, document, and audit incoming damaged merchandise.

• Review merchandise for quality issues and determine appropriate handling processes.

• Maintain general housekeeping in the MRE area.

• Collaborate with other corporate departments and stores to provide timely assistance.

• Perform other duties as directed by Lead, Supervisor, and Inventory Control Director.

• Conduct business affairs in a legal and ethical manner, fostering a socially conscious environment.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High School Graduate or equivalent.

• Computer experience required.

• Inventory and distribution experience preferred.

• Must have demonstrated communication skills.
