Job Information:

• Located in Parlin, NJ
• Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
• Paying $20 - $22per hour to start
• Temp-to-hire, nice benefits package
• Requires valid driver's license

Inventory Specialist:

• This company is an industrial parts distributor.  They sell rubber conveyor belt material for machines and factory equipment.  This person assists with keeping accurate counts of material on-hand, monitoring material on-order and ensuring all scrap material is evaluated for possible small orders. 
• Maintains basic database with accurate data, updates daily and runs basic reports weekly.
• Ensures plentiful inventory on-hand for all popular brands of material, including back-up supply for large, unexpected orders.
• Maintains friendly and courteous customer interactions, develops relationships with repeat and regular customers and assists with orders when needed. 
• Preforms daily, weekly and monthly cycle counts and updates database
• Answer telephone, greets customers, helps answer questions or resolve issues on own (training provided)
• Enters customer order into computer and communicates with management and warehouse personnel.
• Makes entries into QuickBooks (occasionally)
• Operates basic sit-down forklift, pallet jacks, and dollies when needed
• Resolves customer complains (rarely)
• Runs company errands such as bank runs, parts pick-up, special mail drop off at Post Office, etc.
• Enters data into spreadsheets when needed
• Uses basic MS Office including some advance MS Excel, formulas, etc. (regularly). Also scans, faxes, uses phone and computer (regularly)

Inventory Specialist Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid New Jersey driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required (runs company errands occasionally)
• At least two (2) years of Inventory or related warehouse experience from another warehouse or manufacturing site is required.
• Ability to think quickly, resolve issues on own and maintain proper communication with management and ownership
• Strong computer skills, including at least 2 years of experience using QuickBooks
