Role/Title: Java Developer- Tech Lead x2

Remote or Onsite: Hybrid (3 days onsite/ 2 days remote)

Position Type: Contract (6+ months)

Start Date: ASAP

Interview Process:

• 1 hr technical screen by Senior Engineer
• 30 min interview with Client

Call Notes:

This team oversees servicing Technology; all of data and analytics/ servicing data.

Supporting the customer service domain and building capabilities for CCP and frontline engineers

Building in speech to text scalable engine that can convert conversations into a transcript .

Multiple Gen AI use cases AMEX has been working on

Summarization Use Case

Speech to Text scalable engine

*experience with machine learning would be plus.

* Google Cloud Platform and Google Cloud Platform services are a big plus

*Gen AI experience is a big plus

Back-end server side no Front-end; building microservices and data related work.

Current needs are around senior engineers- tech leads that would be comfortably mentoring junior engineers and will have 3 scrum teams.

10+ years experience just not as an individual contributor but also as a hands-on tech lead

Requirements:

10+ years of experience in software development, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.

Proficiency in Java and extensive experience in developing APIs.

Strong understanding of back-end server-side development, with no front-end responsibilities.

Experience with Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and Google Cloud Platform services is a significant plus.

Exposure to machine learning concepts is a plus.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Strong communication skills and the ability to mentor and guide junior engineers.

Nice to Have:

Experience with Python.

Familiarity with machine learning.
