Lead Front End Developer

3Ci is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to join the Operator Technology Solutions team, responsible for building and integrating services, tools, and custom software to support our Client's Operators in scaling their restaurant business operations. Join an opportunity to work on enterprise-level systems impacting Client restaurant employees worldwide.

Client Job Description: As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be a technical leader on an agile, product-focused team, influencing product direction, system architecture, and engineering patterns. You will mentor other staff engineers, set coding standards, and ensure system stability and security. In this frontend role, you will deliver design, architecture, and build-out of a training platform for Client Operators.

Requirements:

• Experience in React
• Previous lead experience over a small team of front-end engineers
• AWS experience
• Good personality and communication skills to fit our Client's culture
• Experience working in a test-driven environment with a focus on unit testing and test coverage
• Able to work at least a 6-to-9-month contract to hire
• Preferred candidates located in Atlanta or Southeast (willingness to travel occasionally)

Responsibilities:

• Own solution architecture decisions for the team's product
• Lead delivery and operations of the team's product, balancing individual contribution with leadership responsibilities
• Mentor, assess, and guide other staff engineers
• Interview, select, onboard, and oversee contract engineers
• Guide the engineering team in adopting our Client's software engineering standards
• Identify and propose emerging software engineering technologies and methodologies
• Provide support for the portfolio of solutions owned by the team

Vision of Success:

• 90 Days: Get system access, review code, get up to speed, and focus on writing code 100% of the time.
• 180 Days: Continue writing code while transitioning into more of a lead role, spending 60-75% of time on coding and 25-40% on lead work.
• 1 Year: Continue contributing to codebase and leading team efforts.
