Job Description - Loan Servicing Specialist IV-Commercial Real Estate

Job Description

As a Loan Servicing Specialist IV, your role centres on facilitating prompt resolution of issues and request from both internal and external stakeholders. Your key duties involve reviewing and process transaction requests, daily reports, opening and closing internal demand deposit accounts, monitoring annual reserve increases, and ensuring all procedures and system updates are accurate. 

This position demands  attention to detail, critical thinking,  analytical skills, intermediate excel proficiency, and familiarity with Commercial Bank operation, and sublines of business. Effective communication is essential for interaction with internal and external clients.

Job responsibilities:

  • Receive, review, and respond to client request from Aurora system within a 24-hour Service Level Agreement (SLA). 
  • Conduct a thorough review and quality check of newly added Reserve accounts to ensure accurate setup.  
  • Process requests for Opening and Closing of Internal Demand Deposit Accounts (IDDA) 
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) and understand the upstream and downstream processes.
  • Proactively identify process inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement in the handling of all reserve accounts.
  • Quarterly review and updates (if any) of procedures and job aids 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements and enhance overall customer satisfaction as requested.

Required Skills: 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to act on his/her own to solve problems and make decisions.
  • Ability to interact with various levels of bank personnel.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and customer focus.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in reporting and documentation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. 
  • Strong knowledge of MS-Office applications.
