Job Description - LPN Nurse

If you love change and like to learn something new every day then the Float Pool is for you! Float Pool gives the opportunity to develop clinical assessment skills as well as sharpen skills in communication and teamwork. Health care workers who are compassionate, hard-working, and flexible will find working on this unit very rewarding! Units you may float to based on experience: ED, ICU, TCU, PCU, all Med-Surg units, Acute Rehab and Behavioral Health. Float Pool Qualifications: Qualifications:
Experience: 1 year LPN bed-side experience
Education:
High school diploma or GED equivalent
Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program
Licensure:
Must have a current LPN license in the State of Missouri
Certifications:
Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire
LPN-IV Certification
Preferred Experience: a minimum 3 years medical surgical or critical care experience in hospital setting and have competencies equivalent to those required of core staff nurses
