Material Handler

Pay Rate: $20

Shift: Monday-Friday (2:30pm-10:30pm)

What’s a typical day as a Material Handler? You’ll be:

• Operating powered equipment such as forklifts and clamp trucks to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count products

• Checking all inbound and outbound products for damage, infestation, and proper product code dates

• Loading, unloading, moving, stocking, and staging products and materials using power equipment

• Pulling and preparing products for shipment, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation

• Keeping records and reports for inventory accuracy

• Verifying load accuracy, checking count, stability, and product damage

• Reporting any variances as necessary

• Changing equipment battery or LP tank and monitoring power source

• Maintaining the facility's equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion

• Assisting in physical inventories

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:

• Have experience operating powered equipment such as forklifts and clamp trucks

• Possess strong attention to detail and the ability to accurately record and report information

• Have the ability to lift and move heavy objects

• Are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
