Model e Innovation - Retail Execution Location Remote in United States :

In this position...

The Model e Innovation Manager will serve as a project manager, business development specialist and operations lead in the build out of new revenue-generating concepts. These concepts will include but are not limited to strategic business partnerships, retail activations and the adoption of new technologies aimed at generating incremental revenue. This role will require advanced planning, agility and problem solving to address opportunities that emerge during all stages of planning and execution.

Although this is a full remote position, we anticipate some travel approximately two times per year to Dearborn, MI.

You'll have...

  • Bachelor's degree or a combination of education and equivalent work experience
  • 3 + years of experience in managing multiple stakeholder relationships preferably within a retail automotive environment.
  • 2 + years of experience analyzing sales reports and making decisions based on the data.

  • The ability and drive to Ideate, evaluate and proactively analyze ROI on new revenue stream opportunities
  • Be a creative and innovative thinker
  • Experience managing relationships with third party vendors from a variety of industries
  • Experience managing a budget and timelines utilizing Excel, Smartsheet or similar.

What you'll do... :

  • Closely monitor the automotive industry, competition and startups to provide strategic input into and execution of activities in support of new revenue generation
  • Develop strong partnerships and collaborate across all functions of Ford to evaluate existing processes, new concepts and hurdles. Find ways to say ‘yes' to new ideas.
  • Ideate, evaluate and proactively analyze ROI on new revenue stream opportunities for Dealers and Ford.
  • Manage piepline of future opportunities, scheduling project kickoffs and updating/sharing calendar regularly to ensure all parties are aware of key dates and changes.
  • Manage relationships with third party vendors from a variety of industries and segments (retail, technology, manufacturing, etc.)
  • Develop pilot programs to test new, innovative concepts as potential for new revenue streams or protection of existing revenue streams.
  • Be on-the-ground operations lead in advance of and during pilot launches.
  • Manage the implementation, execution and monitoring of these pilots from 1-100 locations.
  • Review pilot performance daily and/or weekly depending on duration and concept. Analyze results to suggest ‘go-forward' or sunset of each pilot.
  • Develop executive business reviews encompassing strategies, performance and insights on a regular basis.
  • Create playbooks to ‘hand-off' these scaled initiatives to internal Model e teams.
  • Work cross-functionally to transition the partnerships and execution of each initiative to an internal program team.
  • Promote a positive, united work environment within the team and across departments while challenging the status quo.
