Job Description - Neuropsychologist

Job Title: Neuropsychologist

Location: San Francisco, California

Overview:  We are seeking a highly qualified and motivated Neuropsychologist to join our rapidly-growing healthcare team in Beverly Hills, CA. As a Neuropsychologist, you will play a crucial role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals with neurological and psychological disorders. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative and innovative environment, contributing to the improvement of patients' cognitive and emotional well-being. Experience working with children and adults is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:



  1. Clinical Assessment and Diagnosis:


    • Conduct comprehensive neuropsychological assessments to evaluate cognitive, emotional, and behavioral functioning.
    • Diagnose and differentiate between various neurological and psychological disorders.
  2. Treatment Planning and Intervention:


    • Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
    • Implement evidence-based interventions to address cognitive and emotional challenges.
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic patient care.
  3. Patient Counseling and Education:


    • Provide counseling and support to patients and their families, helping them understand and cope with neurological conditions.
    • Educate patients on strategies to manage cognitive and emotional difficulties.
  4. Research and Evaluation:


    • Engage in ongoing research to contribute to the field of neuropsychology.
    • Stay abreast of the latest advancements and treatment modalities.
  5. Documentation and Reporting:


    • Maintain accurate and detailed records of assessments, interventions, and progress notes.
    • Generate comprehensive reports to communicate findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.
  6. Professional Development:


    • Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills.

Qualifications:


  1. Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology or Neuropsychology from an accredited institution.
  2. Current licensure as a psychologist in the state of California.
  3. Board certification in Clinical Neuropsychology preferred.
  4. Demonstrated experience in conducting neuropsychological assessments and providing interventions.
  5. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
