Nurse Practitioner

Nurse Practitioner Salary: $110,000-$125,000k/yr BOE PRN Salary: $80-85/ per visit Schedule: Full-time or PRN | M-F| Flexible hours Location: Franklin County and surrounding areas Requirements of the NP role:

• Graduate of an approved Nurse Practitioner Program
• Licensed by Ohio State Board of Nursing and in good standard DEA License
• Wound care experience REQUIRED
• Must be willing to travel
• Valid Drivers License and Auto insurance Coverage
• Home Health experience preferred

About the Nurse Practitioner role:

• Traveling to scheduled locations weekly for wound rounds at various homes or facilities in the Columbus area
• Mobile Wound Healing delivers wound care services at patients' residences inclusive of their homes, Assisted Living Facilities, and Independent Living Facilities.
• This role involves providing care for patients by assessing and monitoring wounds and making clinical decisions while creating/maintaining a plan that results in successful wound care management.
• Traveling to scheduled locations weekly for wound rounds at various homes or facilities in the Columbus area.
• Developing a treatment plan for wound care based on the individual needs of each patient.
• Providing the highest quality wound care services to patients in homes and partner facilities.
• Performing bedside wound care skills including wound assessment, debridement, dressing application, pressure relief, pain/odor control, and minor surgical procedures.
• Tracking the progress of wound healing and documenting accordingly in EHR.
• Developing a treatment plan for wound care based on the individual needs of each patient.
• Providing education to the patient, family, facility staff, and home health agency staff to promote understanding and healing, and for the management of patient’s wounds.
