Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our dynamic team. The Operations Manager will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and overall appeal of our properties across Oahu. Key Responsibilities:
- Work collaboratively with leadership and team members to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and safety are maintained.
- Develop positive relationships with team members, fostering an environment of trust, respect, and high performance.
- Implement and oversee departmental procedures to maximize productivity and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and emergency procedures, including the proper use and storage of cleaning supplies.
- Develop and administer training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
- Manage labor and expenses within budgetary constraints, while maintaining quality standards.
- Conduct daily inspections to monitor property condition and address any issues promptly.
- Maintain equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and manage inventory of supplies.
- Prepare and adjust schedules as needed to meet operational requirements.
- Communicate operational challenges to the Assistant General Manager and collaborate on solutions.
- Lead by example by actively participating in cleaning activities alongside staff when necessary.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 5 years of experience supervising a team of 25 or more.
- Minimum 4 years of facilities management experience in the resort or janitorial industry preferred.
Skills and Abilities:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Thorough knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and sanitary practices.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and work in various weather conditions.
- Must be able to travel to multiple resort locations across Oahu and work all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
