• Seasoned Java Developer:  You are a rockstar when it comes to Java development! You have experience with Java full-stack development, and Agile methods (ADM for Distributed for Agile Development). You also have great experience with application design and architecture. You also have advanced experience with Scala programming language, as well as experience with Gatling.

What we do:

The United States Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Centers for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) Federally Facilitated Marketplace (FFM) seeks to help consumers and small businesses find the best health insurance plan for them. The FFM allows users to directly compare and shop for the most competitive private health insurance options available. Fusion Technology’s mission is to secure and maintain the healthcare.gov FFM web page and associated functions while complying with CMS Data Administration and Database Administration Standards and Guidelines. What you’ll do:

• Responsible for development of performance test scripts and automation/enhancements to scripts/platform
• Ability to interface with a Scala application currently in development
• The Performance Engineering team works with the Development team for configuration, optimization, and architecture changes
• Automation and scripting is handled through a variety of a processes including Gatling
