Production Technician

Job Title: Production Technician (Temporary to Hire)

Location: Baton Rouge, LA 70809

Salary: From $19 per hour

Schedule: Full-time, 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday (No weekends)

We are seeking a motivated Production Technician to join our team in Baton Rouge, LA. This is a temporary to hire position with excellent hours and benefits. As a Production Technician, you will be trained to operate all production equipment and will participate in an extensive shadowing program.

The ideal candidate will be part of a group where two-person teams work to produce various skincare formulations in production quantities. Each team develops and implements production plans, including their schedule, to ensure compliance with regulatory and safety requirements, including FDA and GMP standards.

Production Assistant Responsibilities:

• Assisting in the production of cosmeceutical, over-the-counter drug, and similar products according to assigned Production Bills of Materials.

• Retrieving bulk materials from inventory for manufacturing.

• Weighing and measuring ingredients as prescribed by Production Bills of Materials.

• Inspecting and preparing equipment and utensils for use.

• Setting and monitoring equipment parameters during production.

• Handling various tasks such as cooking ingredients, pumping blends, and sampling products.

• Cleaning equipment and utensils for subsequent use.

Experience: Will Train

Physical Activities and Requirements:

• Physical Strength: Ability to stand and lift objects of various sizes, shapes, and weights for extended periods. May routinely lift containers weighing from 25 to 50 pounds and exert up to one hundred (100) pounds of force occasionally.

• Mobility: Ability to climb safety ladders and retrieve materials from raised shelves or pour ingredients into production equipment.
