Job Description - Pulmonologist

Stacy Creagan with Advanced Scope is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Pulmonologist to join a dynamic healthcare team in Columbus, GA. Advanced Scope is a boutique physician and advanced practice recruitment firm in the Southeast helping place permanent providers to private practices. 

  • Provide expert medical care to patients. 
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, diagnose respiratory conditions, and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Perform procedures such as bronchoscopy, intubation, and mechanical ventilation as needed.
  • Collaborate with intensivists, nurses, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated care.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and communicate updates to the healthcare team and patients' families.
  • Participate in educational initiatives, research projects, and quality improvement efforts within the critical care department.
  • Adhere to ethical and professional standards, maintain accurate medical records, and uphold patient confidentiality.

  • Client handles all non-clinical, administrative aspects of the practice (e.g.,
    insurance, EHR subscription, revenue cycle management, licensing and credentialing
    nurse practitioners, real estate, etc.), while you focus on practicing medicine
  • Reasonable work hours (avg. 18 visits/day); no hospital call responsibility

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Pulmonary Medicine.
  • Valid medical license to practice in GA.
  • Demonstrated clinical expertise in managing complex respiratory conditions in critical care settings.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and decision-making skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and quality improvement initiatives.
Base Pay: $400,000+

Sign On: $75,000 - $100,000

Relocation Provided.
