Join Our Team as a Purchasing Specialist!

Are you passionate about streamlining purchasing processes and optimizing supply chains? We’re seeking a driven and detail-oriented Purchasing Specialist to join our team. As a Purchasing Specialist, you’ll play a pivotal role in coordinating purchasing activities, ensuring seamless operations and fostering strong supplier relationships.

Facilitate Purchasing Operations: Coordinate purchase order processes including deferrals, expediting, and cancellations to maintain efficient business operations.

Develop and run reports, conduct price analytics, and update material cost standards to contribute to informed decision-making.

Engage in supplier business review meetings, manage bid lists, issue RFQs, and support negotiations to enhance supplier performance.

Support initiatives to enhance material flow, capture value, and reduce waste in the supply chain, contributing to overall efficiency.

Train and mentor purchasing coordinators and associates to uphold best practices and ensure a cohesive team environment.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Purchasing, or related field.

Experience: Three (3) or more years in Supply Chain, Purchasing, or a related field.

Expert level of proficiency in Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

Relevant industry certifications would be advantageous.

Strong attention to detail, exceptional follow-through, and excellent organizational skills.

Software Proficiency: Experience with various web-based software applications such as Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint, etc.
