Description The Division of Education is seeking a part-time Montana Teacher Residency Program Recruiter to join our team. You will play a vital role in the recruitment, placement, and support of Residents across Montana. Working closely with the Division Chair of Education, the Manager of Field Placement, and other stakeholders, you will help shape the future of education in our state. This position involves recruiting and placing students into the Residency, collaborating with school districts to create placement opportunities, and serving as a liaison between Residents, districts, and our program. Your efforts will contribute to the ongoing success and growth, building a strong foundation for the years ahead. Duties Include: Recruit students to serve as Residents Partner with school districts to host Residents Assist in developing programs of study for all Residents Coordinate fund distributions with Business Services and Financial Aid offices Collaborate with Educator Preparation Programs across the state Troubleshoot issues throughout the Residency Coordinate university supervision for all Residents from Create support materials, including a Residency Handbook Develop application procedures and forms Maintain databases/records Act as a liaison with various constituencies Support Residents throughout their placements Recommend Residents for licensure upon program completion Participate in Education Division meetings Requirements Minimum of an associate's degree Positive affect and professional disposition Strong interpersonal skills for diverse interactions Ability to problem-solve and resolve conflicts Excellent oral, written, and editing skills Strong technology skills Work effectively under pressure with a pleasant attitude Perform duties with minimal supervision Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive issues Preferred Bachelor's degree in education or related field Experience/background in the educational field About Us We are a dynamic, innovative undergraduate university located in Dillon, Montana, nestled in the scenic Rocky Mountains.
