We are currently seeking a Regional Communications Manager, Operations to join our expanding Communications team! This role, reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Operations Communications, offers the flexibility of remote work. Key Responsibilities: Lead the development and execution of comprehensive external and internal communication strategies for designated regions and manufacturing/remediation sites. Serve as a trusted strategic advisor to site and business manufacturing leadership, offering expert counsel on all aspects of internal and external communications. Facilitate the integration of communication efforts from various sources into cohesive and relational approaches that cater to the needs of manufacturing employees. Develop and implement communication plans for critical initiatives such as strategic site enhancements, acquisitions/divestitures, and environmental programs. Spearhead communications during crisis and issues management situations, including the maintenance of response plans, participation in Emergency Operations Committees, and post-event evaluation and adaptation. Manage regional or site-level communications budgets, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum impact. Provide direction to external agencies and consultants for reputational initiatives and community engagement efforts. Cultivate and maintain relationships with local media outlets, identifying opportunities for engagement and supporting message dissemination. Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders in local communities and lead/support community outreach initiatives. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in communications or a related field. 7+ years of extensive communications experience spanning media relations, community engagement, crisis communications, internal communications, and digital communications. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Willingness to travel to assigned sites as required. Experience in issues communications, including message and strategy development. Preferred Qualifications: Background supporting manufacturing businesses, preferably in the chemical sector.
