Job Description - School Psychologist

Are you a compassionate individual with a passion for supporting students' holistic well-being? We are seeking a dedicated School Psychologist to join our team virtually, providing invaluable support to our students, their families, and faculty members. Responsibilities: Act as a trusted listener for students, addressing their academic, emotional, and social concerns with empathy and understanding.
Provide personalized counseling sessions, both one-on-one and in group settings, tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations, meticulously analyzing results and preparing insightful reports to guide intervention strategies.
Assist students in navigating and overcoming challenges, fostering resilience and empowering them to thrive.
Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and caregivers, offering guidance and support in addressing student-related issues.
Research and implement effective intervention programs to promote positive behavioral and learning outcomes.
Develop innovative initiatives to address behavioral issues and learning difficulties, fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
Conduct thorough assessments to determine students' eligibility for specialized services, ensuring equitable access to resources.
Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to stay abreast of best practices and emerging trends in school psychology.
Requirements: Master's or Specialist degree in School Psychology or Psychology from an accredited institution.
Valid licensure as a School Psychologist in Virginia (or ability to obtain licensure).
Proven experience in administering psychological assessments and delivering counseling services to students.
Strong understanding of mental health principles and evidence-based strategies for addressing affective and behavioral disorders.
Proficiency in diagnosing and treating a range of psychological concerns, employing sound judgment and ethical practices.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

Salary: $ 40.00 55.00 Per Hour
