Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This full-time contract position involves providing nursing services to clients who have been civilly committed by a court system.

Responsibilities:

- Delivering comprehensive nursing care to clients in a secure treatment environment.

- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers.

- Monitoring and assessing clients' physical and mental health status.

- Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.

- Providing education and support to clients regarding their health and treatment.

- Maintaining accurate and timely medical records.

- Responding to medical emergencies and providing appropriate interventions.

- Adhering to all safety protocols and standards of practice.

- Evening Shifts: 2:00 PM 10:30 PM

- Weekend Coverage: At least 9 out of every 13 weekends (Saturday/Sunday)

Requirements:

- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Minnesota.

- Experience in psychiatric or correctional nursing is preferred.

- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

- Flexibility to work evening shifts and weekends as required.
