Job Description - Sales Executive

Ninth Brain is a professional services firm that enables first responder organizations to focus on what’s important: less on paperwork and more on saving lives. Launched in 2001, Ninth Brain is a Michigan-based software company that has developed a suite of tools that provides a centralized solution to help organizations with maintaining their daily operations. These tools include tracking required credentials, providing a robust learning management system, creating forms/checklists, managing workforce scheduling, and much more. This is a fully remote opportunity open to candidates in the following states:​​​​​​ MI, IN, IL, TN, WI.  Sales Executives at Ninth Brain are indispensable to our success, serving as the cornerstone of our client relationships and business growth. They are not just salespeople; they are trusted advisors, driving client satisfaction and loyalty through their deep understanding of our solutions and the unique needs of our clients. By forging strong connections, identifying opportunities, and delivering exceptional service, they ensure that our clients' expectations are not only met but exceeded. Their expertise, dedication, and strategic insights are vital to maintaining the friendly, relatable, and knowledgeable brand identity that Ninth Brain is known for in the marketplace. Primary Responsibilities: 

Prospect Handling

  • Dive into prospect profiles, communications, and documents within CRM and Jira like a pro.
  • Dazzle prospects with engaging online demonstrations of the NBS software.
  • Craft irresistible sales quotes, manage negotiations on Terms of Service and Business Associate Agreements, and create orders with management's thumbs-up.
  • Keep the conversation flowing with prospects, answering questions and providing updates.

Client Relationships

  • Ensure our clients are not just satisfied, they are thrilled with our service.
  • Wow existing NBS clients with online demonstrations of upsell features.
  • Keep client information up-to-date in CRM and Jira, ensuring seamless correspondence.

Business Relations

  • Travel to 8-10 tradeshows a year, representing NBS with style – set up the booth, chat with clients and prospects, and soak in the excitement.
  • Build strong relationships with leaders in the EMS industry, leveraging these connections for insights and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with vendors on projects, partnerships, and integrations.

Research, Development, & Maintenance

  • Strategize with management to set sales KPIs, define target audiences, and generate leads for the pipeline.
  • Stay ahead of the competition by maintaining and updating competitor profiles.
  • Assist with tradeshow research, coordination, and decisions.
  • Keep the NBS demo and sandbox sites fresh and updated.
  • Review and refine sales processes as directed.

Assistance in Marketing Efforts

  • Collaborate with vendors on special marketing projects.
  • Contribute to the creation of sales materials like flyers, email templates, and messages.

  • You are ready to hit the ground running & make the marketing team ask, “where you have been all my life?”
  • You are not intimidated by client executives and are comfortable and clear in communicating, both written and verbal, at all levels of the organization.
  • You are an outgoing, self-motivated, high-energy, detail-oriented individual who wants to be a key player in our growing team!

Required Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
  • Medical education or experience in Emergency Medical Services is a MUST! 
  • 2+ years in sales or customer service-oriented positions.
  • Experience in consultative selling, B2B sales, and software demonstrations is a bonus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, networking, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Passion for creative writing.
  • Proven ability to build and nurture client relationships.
  • Willingness to travel and work at conferences and tradeshows across the country (1-4 a year).
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivation, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with PowerPoint, Excel, and other software tools.
  • Experience in marketing, advertising, and social media is a plus.
  • Outgoing, positive, and passionate personality is a MUST!
