We are now in a period where we are expanding globally, and are seeking a highly motivated Sales Manager for our new department based in Detroit. You will be the face of our company, internally and externally. In order to succeed in this role, you will need to have an energetic attitude with a hunter mentality. The sales manager will be responsible for driving growth through new business and up-sell opportunities within existing customers and developing company strategies.

What you will be doing at wheel.me

  • Manage sales processes with customers effectively through the entire sales pipeline, from finding a potential client to introduction meetings to signing contracts.
  • Identifying emerging markets to find new sales opportunities.
  • Qualifying and follow-up on inbound sales leads and create outbound activity.
  • Present the company and products to (potential) customers online as well as site visits to understand workflows and use-cases for automation.
  • Setting sales quotas and goals, then tracking and analyzing sales statistics based on key quantitative metrics.
  • Making data-informed decisions to drive performance and resource allocation.
  • Follow the customer initial discussion to deployment and maintenance and scaling
  • Work closely with the deployment team to build the best automation solutions for the customers

The responsibilities listed above are not exhaustive and may be varied from time to time as dictated by the changing needs of wheel.me . The sales manager will be expected to undertake ad-hoc duties that are requested.

Requirements

  • Have a bachelor´s degree in business, economy, IT, engineering or a relevant field.
  • Have a proven track record of B2B sales experience in industrial sales or B2B solution selling.
  • Have experience or the ability to both sales hunt and farm
  • Have outstanding communication skills and fluency in English
  • Strong analytical capability and GRIT
  • Being able to adapt to changes and learn new industries
  • Technical background or strong affinity for technology
  • CRM experience and understanding of how to use data in sales (we use Salesforce)
  • Confident in communicating with stakeholders at all levels
  • Are a resourceful and creative problem solver who will “roll up their sleeves” to get the job done.
  • Have a drivers license

It would also be nice if you..

  • Experience from the automotive industry is an advantage.
  • Experience towards manufacturing, logistics or health care will be seen as an asset.
  • Interest for developing and mentoring more junior team members
