Kelly is hiring a  Scientist I for one of our pharmaceutical clients in  Cambridge,
MA

• 8am-5pm
• Pay: negotiable
• 1 year contract

OBJECTIVES:
1. Join a team of scientists and research associates engaged in assay development for viral vaccines
2. This position requires the ability to perform, analyze and troubleshoot experiments, help develop and expand automation capabilities, optimize assays and implement solutions.
3. Work collaboratively with members from cross functional teams and demonstrate independent, self-starting as well as the ability to work effectively in a matrix organization.
4. Assist with general operation of the laboratory space, and maintenance of cell cultures, common reagents, media and stock solutions. ACCOUNTABILITIES: 1. Plan, perform, and interpret scientific experiments independently
2. Collaborate with fellow scientists in a team environment
3. Write and maintain accurate, complete, and timely data in laboratory notebooks.
4. Maintain tissue culture laboratory operations, instrumentation, reagents and supplies.
5. Summarize and communicate results (written and verbal) at team meetings and contribute to scientific discussions.
6. Identify problems with experiments and troubleshoot solutions with guidance from the supervisor.
7. Other duties as assigned. Additional Information:
1. BS Degree in Physical or Life Sciences and 3-8 years laboratory experience, or
MS Degree in Physical or Life Sciences and 2-5 years laboratory experience 2. Prior experience with cell culture
3. Prior experience with immunoassays (ELISA, MSD, Luminex, etc)
4. Strong background in molecular biology, qPCR, dPCR, etc
5. Flow cytometry experience is a bonus #P2 8864724
