BRIEF POSTING DESCRIPTION:

The P EJ INFORMATION ASSURANCE Department of the P INFORMATION ASSURANCE Division at Hawaiian Electric Company has 1 Management vacancy available. (Role: Professional )

JOB FUNCTION:

Reports directly to the Information Assurance Manager and serves as a subject matter expert in preserving, collecting, processing, reviewing, analyzing, and producing electronically stored information for internal or external investigations, incident response, claims, litigation and regulatory proceedings for the company

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Collects, processes, reviews, and analyzes data using e-discovery and other computer forensic tools on a variety of systems and devices for internal or external investigations, incident response, claims, litigation, and regulatory proceedings.

  • Engages closely with the General Counsel Process Area and technical teams to preserve and collect electronically stored information identified for investigations, claims, litigation, regulatory proceedings, and other e-discovery requests.

  • Documents and maintains full chain of custody and evidence tracking.

  • Develops and maintains procedures to ensure that appropriate processes are in place to support the e-discovery lifecycle.

  • Participates in Company emergency response activities as assigned, including any activities required to prepare for such emergency response.

  • Understanding of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model in support of litigation

    Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Assurance, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field

  • 10+ years of relevant experience preserving, collecting, processing, reviewing, analyzing, and producing electronically stored information for internal or external investigations, incident response, claims, litigation, and regulatory proceedings.

  • One or more of industry standard certification such as:

  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

  • Security

    • Certified E-Discovery Specialist (CEDS)
    • Certified Computer Examiner (CCE)

    • Certified Computer Forensic Examiner (CCFE)

    • GIAC Certified Forensic Examiner (GCFE)

    • GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA)

    • Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
