What you'll do :



The Financial Planning & Analysis area is seeking a highly skilled and highly motivated Senior FP&A Analyst to support our firm's financial planning and analysis team. We are responsible for enabling firm decision making, providing insightful and action oriented financial analysis, evolving financial planning processes, as well as applying best practices and new perspectives to solve complex problems.



As a Senior FP&A Analyst, you will be a part of a team that supports annual and ad hoc firm financial planning, coordinate, and complete the recurring business review process in partnership with various stakeholders across the firm, and primarily supporting the US Business Unit in regard to financial planning and development of objectives and measures focusing on both short and long-term goals.



Here are a few of the key responsibilities you will be a part of :

  • Develop an internal network of relationships across Finance and the US Business Unit and supported planning areas to act as a trusted partner for stakeholders to rely on.
  • Organize, coordinate, and execute critical monthly and quarterly business review processes for senior leadership consumption.
  • Support development of annual plan financial and non-financial guardrails/constraints to use for target setting purposes; and provide clear updates to a wide range of stakeholders on variance to guardrails, facilitate action to correct, and partner to complete annual plan within constraints.
  • "Tell the story" to senior leaders and distill complex financial history and projections into consumable and actionable executive summary visuals and insights
  • Key member of enterprise core planning team - Strategically lead and influence broader planning process including enhancements, timeline, milestone delivery and trouble shooting.
  • Effectively communicate analysis recommendations to team, peers, and leaders. Ability to package complex analysis materials into easily digestible materials, PowerPoints, and narratives. Can simplify complex analysis artifacts up for executive consumption and guide/teach teams to do the same.
  • Informally lead and develop team members in recurring business review processes and other ad-hoc analyses.
  • Challenge status quo with professionalism and proactive solutions.
  • Develop measurement systems at various hierarchies to create awareness of and accountability for results.
  • Inform and educate business areas as to the financial impact of decisions, as well as recommending an optimal or preferred solution to influence strategic direction.
  • Develop high impact analysis that facilitates the transformation of complex data/information into actionable insights and recommendations.

What Experience You Need :
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience, including :
    • Prior experience in a Financial Planning & Analysis function preferred.
    • Proven ability to work with stakeholders, including senior leadership, providing analytical guidance to directly influence business decisions.
    • Excellent ability to analyze problems and recommend solutions for a broad spectrum of business improvement opportunities in a clear and concise manner.
    • Experience operating in ambiguous situations, creating processes enhancements that address short term needs while moving us closer to a longer-term vision.
    • Identify trends and present recommendations to Senior Leadership to influence decision making.

  • Advanced Degree (MBA / MSF) / Comparable Certifications (CFA, CPA, etc.) preferred.

The salary range for this role is based on national data and actual pay is based on skills, experience, education, and other relevant factors for a potential new associate:
Salary: $113810 - $193785
