Senior Software Developer

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Java Developer to join our team, playing a pivotal role in the development, integration, and deployment of application software supporting mission-critical business applications within our TAG IT customer processing and repository group. This position involves active participation in the complete system development life cycle, including post-implementation support. As a Senior Java Developer, you'll provide technical consulting to management, collaborate closely with business users, and mentor fellow developers. 7+ years of IT experience encompassing all phases of the SDLC
Extensive web application development experience (7+ years) in a Java/J2EE environment
Proficiency (3+ years) with Spring Boot, Microservices, and REST APIs
Exposure to Cloud Platforms, preferably Azure or AWS
Solid experience (5+ years) with enterprise database management systems, preferably Oracle (experience with MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL is also beneficial)
Familiarity with development frameworks/languages such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS
Proficiency (5+ years) working with Source Control environments such as GIT
Strong communication skills Responsibilities:
Design full-stack application and database components for development projects
Analyze business models, logical specifications, and customer requirements to design and develop Internet solutions using multiple technologies
Execute complex programming assignments adhering to established programming standards, methods, and best practices
Maintain and modify web applications, incorporating approved changes by amending application documentation, developing detailed programming logic, and coding changes
Conduct research on new technologies, including tools, components, and frameworks
Mitigate significant risks associated with projects, particularly those with high technical complexity and/or significant challenges to the business Why Apply?
