Senior Software Developer (Clojure/ Clojure Script)

Primary Location: 100% Remote



V-Soft Consulting is currently hiring for a Senior Software Developer (Clojure/ Clojure Script) (100% Remote) for our premier client.



Education and Experience

• Minimum 5 years experience in development using Clojure/ Clojure Script and React/ JS.
• The tool is running on Clojure. So, they are using Clojure coding on the Service side. PostgreSQL database behind the scenes.
• Using React with Clojure Script for Frontend, So, JavaScript knowledge & Clojure Script knowledge is needed.
• JVM knowledge including JVM languages like Clojure, Java and Scala knowledge is needed.
• Besides that they are integrating other tools using APIs, Kafka messages (other flavor- Kinesis), knowledge on API driven systems is needed.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Clojure, Clojure Script, PostgreSQL, Microservices.

Nice to have:

• Good knowledge of AWS.
• Other nice to have tools are knowledge of Redis, Kafka, HashiCorp stack (Nomad, Consul, Vault, Terraform), ELK, Telegraf, Grafana.
• Knowledge of React.JS for Frontend, any JVM language Knowledge like Java/ Scala is nice to have.

WHAT YOULL DO:

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for building construction tools to help the business partners for building the internet.
• The tool is web based and mobile friendly. They are using micro apps for this platform which is running on AWS. So having knowledge of AWS is a very positive.
