Contribute to the build and development of new Telematics/Infotainment applications that are downloaded and/or directly integrated to in-vehicle infotainment. Work hand in hand with stakeholders and other engineers throughout the entire product development lifecycle in order to define, design, develop, and deliver groundbreaking applications that re-define the driving experience. Be responsible for application development and support including story elaboration, estimation, analysis, design, programming, unit/integration testing and code debugging leveraging the Scrum framework. Work in a highly collaborative, cross-functional, and Agile environment and contribute to team commitments and deliverables. Proficiently build and maintain Android applications that contribute to the connected car feature roadmap. Generate automated test cases based on feature development within applications. Elaborate, estimate, and design for small increments of work based on sprint planning. Perform and participate in root cause analysis of defects. Commit to completing well-defined work and deliver on those commitments. Swarm around tasks along with other Scrum team members. Pair program with different people in many situations as dictated by sprint planning strategies. Configure and manage continuous integration build and delivery pipelines for release. Report status of assigned software development and/or maintenance tasks. Implement and maintain tools to further automate build, release packaging, deployment, and configuration management processes. Develop full lifecycle application for in-vehicle application eco system using standard frameworks and coding standards/patterns. Code, unit-test and debug applications in various software languages including but not limited to Java, Kotlin. Test software and perform quality assurance. Perform tuning, improvement, balancing, usability, automation. Document software code and ensure that technical documentation i.e. configuration guides, install guides meet requirements. Integrate software with existing systems. Maintain standards compliance. Implement localization or globalization of software. Work closely with senior developers and software engineers to gain additional knowledge and expertise and guide junior members on the team. Proactively engage in the remediation of software issues such as code quality, pattern mismatch, and security issues related to the code/configuration. Note, this is a hybrid position whereby the employee will work both from home and from the aforementioned office address. Hence, the employee must live within a reasonable commuting distance of the aforementioned office address.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related position. Must also have experience with: Software Programming, and Software Testing.
