Sr Software Developer

The Sr Software Developer will be at the forefront of designing, developing, and maintaining software applications, leading a team of software developers to ensure the continuous improvement of our technology solutions.

• Software Development: Mentor and collaborate with a team of software developers in designing, developing, and maintaining software applications that align with the company’s requirements and strategic goals.
• System Integration: Work closely with the IT team to integrate software applications with existing systems and databases. Ensure seamless data exchange and compatibility, while leading complex integration projects.
• Quality Assurance and Performance Standards: Set and monitor quality standards for software projects, ensuring that all systems and applications meet the highest levels of quality, performance, and reliability. Lead and mentor the team in implementing best practices.
• Documentation and Knowledge Managements: Ensure the creation and maintenance of detailed documentation for software architecture, code, and configurations. Foster knowledge sharing and best practices within the team and the organization.
• User Training and Support Leadership: Lead training and support efforts for end-users to ensure they can effectively utilize software applications. Address and resolve complex user issues and questions in a timely and professional manner.
• Security and Compliance Oversight: Maintain a strong focus on data security and compliance. Ensure that software applications adhere to relevant industry and company-specific regulations and standards.
• Technical Troubleshooting Leadership: Investigate and resolve complex technical issues related to software applications promptly. Offer advanced technical expertise and support to end-users and colleagues.
• Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and analyze software performance. Identify opportunities for optimization, scalability, and improvements in software functionality.
• Collaboration: Work with business stakeholders to gather and refine software requirements. Collaborate on software development projects and contribute to the company's technology strategy.

Must Haves: ​ ​

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Software Developer and in a leadership role.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as Java, Python, C++, .NET or others; software development tools, and frameworks.
• Advanced knowledge of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• Experience with database management, API integration, EDI, and web application development.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to promote a sense of unity within the team to achieve excellence, together.

Nice-to-Haves: ​ ​

• Knowledge of ERP and CRM systems is a plus.
