The State Manager - Pennsylvania develops and communicates volume and profit objectives; trains and develops the Pennsyalvania sales team and monitors progress; develops and communicates volume and profit objectives; establishes quantitative execution standards and measures for brand priorities; develops and implements the KPI system to increase brand building capabilities with direct team and distributors. 

 

Key responsibilities (j ob responsibilities may vary by state depending on regulatory and compliance standards for the state):

  • Develop and communicate volume and profit objectives for the state of PA. Monitor and ensure the goal attainment is achieved annually and on target.
  • Train and develop the PA Sales team, and monitor progress through the use of the Performance Management System to ensure proper development of the team.
  • Develop and communicate Brand State Priority volume and profit objectives for the state of PA. Monitor and ensure goal attainment of these objectives through KPI's and volumetric and brand contribution measures. 
  • Establish KPIs and measures for the brand state priorities in the state of PA.
  • Increase the profitability of the state of PA by increasing the efficiency of retail pricing and identifying financial opportunities.
  • Update and maintain key distributor and retailer contacts information in the access system for the state of PA.
  • Proactively identify and communicate new brand opportunities via quarterly Competitive Brand Information reports and as opportunities become available. Seamlessly integrate new brand acquisitions into the state of PA.
  • Develop the careers of the PA sales team and monitor the progress through the implementation of the Career Development System System to ensure the long-term developmental training fundamentals are in place. 
  • Build brands, develop relationships, sell distribution, and coordinate programs across on premise, off premise, regional and national accounts.

Salary range - $121,000 - $182,000

  • Placement within the salary range is calculated based upon years of directly relatable experience for the position.
  • The salary range refers to base salary only and does not include car allowance, annual bonus, fuel or cell phone reimbursement.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business or related field
  • Minimum 5 years sales management experience in alc bev or CPG industry
  • Experience working in a control state
  • Record of successful leadership experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability and willingness to work non-traditional hours (nights/weekends)
  • Ability and willingness to travel for work
  • Valid driver's license
