The salary range for this position is:
$41.79 - $43.48 Hourly
$3,342.92 - $3,478.62 Biweekly
$7,243.00 - $7,537.00 Monthly
$86,916.00 - $90,444.00 Annually
This work unit exists to create, administer, manage, evaluate and supervise the development and implementation of training, systems, processes and comprehensive training planning strategies affecting all Family and Medical Leave Insurance (FAMLI) service delivery activities and associated support units. Programs and services include the completion of statewide training needs assessments among all job classifications, evaluation of unit performance and comprehensive system of personnel development to ensure that all FAMLI staff have the required skills and knowledge to effectively provide the highest quality services to employers and employees.
This position is responsible for the management of the Training unit, and to plan, implement and lead the Division of Family and Medical Leave Insurance (FAMLI) training activities for internal and external staff and stakeholders to comply with statutory requirements of C.R.S. §§ 8.13.3.501, et seq., C.R.S. the “Colorado Paid Family and Medical Leave Insurance Act.'' This position directs, guides, and supervises subordinate staff in the development, implementation, and coordination of all programs and services managed and administered by the Training Unit. This position will serve as a first level supervisor and contact for human resource related situations with direct reports.
This position exists to manage division wide training and processes for the Division of Family and Medical Insurance to ensure and lead the creation of training curriculum and processes, conduct skills development coordination and perform direct training activities to all FAMLI staff, as well as external stakeholder groups, to ensure that the agency’s vision, mission and goals are being met. This position will work closely with the second level supervisor to generate reports and analyze data to ensure training is effective and accurate.
This position will need to gather and promulgate information to incorporate this information into training materials. This position requires a high level understanding of a variety of training methodology and techniques. Responsible for staying up to date with the latest training materials, technology and techniques. This position coordinates and directly supervises trainers and the Training Unit to achieve successful employment outcomes. This position requires excellent communication skills as the training content is consistently evolving and changing.

Conditions of Employment:
