Underwriter, Cyber

JOB DESCRIPTION As a key member of the Cyber underwriting department, you will have the role of managing a book of renewal Cyber, and Technology E&O business, as well as developing and growing new business opportunities. As such you will play a critical role in the growth and profitability initiatives for this large specialty department.


MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Risk selection, coverage negotiation and pricing adequacy on renewal business, as well as managing key broker relationships.
• Identifying, analyzing, and developing sources of new Cyber business opportunities, commensurate with Chubb's appetite and underwriting guidelines.
• Developing and establishing relationships with key local brokers and clients, including conducting broker meetings and training presentations on a regularly scheduled basis to ensure department goals and objectives are met.
• Providing technical leadership for underwriting/marketing of Cyber business.
• Providing technical input in policy form development.
• Collaborating with team members to achieve customer satisfaction, profit, and goals.
• Interacting with senior management and product management on a regular basis for general underwriting direction and business strategy.
• Participating in self-development activities to improve or further develop knowledge of underwriting Cyber.
