Responsibilities • Serving as an expert in data analysis, SQL, data intake/transformation, and formulation of recommendations for internal and external business partners.
• Analyzing member/measure level HEDIS and HEDIS-Like data and summarizing performance using SQL tools and statistical procedures.
• Developing and analyzing business performance reports for claims data, provider data, and utilization data.
• Preparing data for HEDIS and HEDIS-like reporting purposes to present to Executive Leadership and internal/external client stakeholders.
• Creating and maintaining databases to track HEDIS business performance.
• Meeting with provider groups to troubleshoot data exchange issues.
• Reconciling supplemental data files for internal and external stakeholders.
• Creating and publishing periodic reports, as well as ad hoc reports.
• Manipulating large files and data sets to identify and isolate patterns and trends.
• Troubleshooting data discrepancies and SDS data flow issues.
• Conducting training on the use of applications developed.
• Providing analytic consultation to other business areas, leadership, or external customers.
• Supporting project deliverables for measure testing and implementation for Commercial and Exchange HEDIS and HEDIS-like measure sets.
Requirements • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a related field.
• A degree in a related field.
• Experience with relational databases and knowledge of query tools and statistical software is strongly preferred.
• Experience managing multiple complex projects with tight deadlines.
• Minimum 1 year UAT testing experience.
• Minimum 1 year using SQL to write queries.
• Minimum 1 year experience managing/manipulating large datasets using Teradata.
• Strong analytical, organizational, presentation, and problem-solving skills strongly preferred.
• Commercial, +/- Exchange and Government experience preferred.
• HEDIS Value sets and Specifications experience/NCQA knowledge.
