Forklift Operator - Immediate Start

• Operate lift trucks in a safe and effective manner following all IP’s safety rules, policies and protocols at all times. • Ensure correct product is sent through appropriate production line • Ensure correct strapping patterns for product, and that loads are strapped with proper dunnage according to instructions and customer-specific requests • Monitor loads and notify supervisor regarding any product issues • Monitor take-off line following strapping process, and load material onto designated trucks, requiring accurate record of load tallies • Keep appropriate records and reports (complete forms, logs, inventory and records accurately – as required) • Transporting product to the appropriate areas of the warehouse as needed • Load warehoused product from the warehouse to the loading dock, as well as receive product from incoming trucks, sign for the receipt of it, and transport to designated department • Turn in proper paperwork to the shipping office. Perform shipping and billing duties when shipping lead is absent. • Rotate as needed between strapper position, take-off line lift truck and floor driver lift truck operation procedures • Complete a daily safety check list, change propane tanks, and check the fluids and air filters on their lift truck. On a daily basis, inspects and performs minor maintenance on the forklift or other equipment. • Run the Unitizer and the baler • Ability to work effectively with the lead team, Maintenance and Production team to reach and surpass production and department goals • Responsible for warehouse inventories, billing responsibility, Food Safety practices and housekeeping. **Pay Rate: ($20.18/hr. up to $22.68/hr.)

Qualifications

• 18+ years old
• High school diploma
• Can lift 50+ lbs
• Must pass drug screen (cannabis included)

• 2 years of forklift, as well as Shipping and Receiving experience. A background as an order picker is preferred.
• Corrugated industry manufacturing environment preferred
• Be able to multitask in a very fast-paced environment
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to load and receive product efficiently, safely and accurately
• Ability to understand and follow general instructions as well as customer-specific requirements
• Ability to process paperwork accurately
• Possess good communication skills and have the ability to work as part of a team

$1000 new hire bonus

This bonus will be paid out in two separate installments (day 30 and 6 months) and is based on meeting company expectations regarding performance, attendance and conduct.
