Role Overview: As a Senior QA Automation Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and quality of our data warehouse implementations. Working alongside cross-functional teams, you'll develop and execute test strategies to validate user requirements and maintain data integrity. Your contributions will directly impact our business decisions and drive continuous improvement. Responsibilities: Develop, maintain, and automate test strategies to validate data accuracy and implementation of user requirements. Conduct performance, integration, and regression testing of data pipelines and transformation rules. Collaborate with development teams to ensure code quality and adherence to standards. Conduct impact analysis to identify potential issues across multiple applications. Continuously learn and understand business processes to better support organizational goals. Lead code reviews and provide mentorship to junior team members. Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies in data warehousing and automation. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; or equivalent work experience. Minimum 5 years of QA Automation engineering experience. Strong expertise in SQL queries and data validation. Proficiency in object-oriented programming languages and design patterns. Experience with Agile/SCRUM and Waterfall methodologies. Knowledge of testing techniques and practices. Experience in data modeling and messaging. Ability to participate in on-call rotation. Preferred Experience: Leadership experience in overseeing software engineering teams. Advanced understanding of automation testing practices and frameworks. Experience with ETL testing tools and cloud data platforms. Familiarity with project tracking tools and financial services industry.
